RECALLS

There are no scheduled recalls at this time. We currently only supply Windsor Assembly plant. Laid off employees with 5 years of service or more are entitled to severance pay, provided you are laid off and not recalled for a period of 35 weeks or more. Severance pay is calculated at 1 weeks pay per year of service. Please contact the Union office for more details.

Heinz Dates

June 28, 29, 30 July 5, 6, 7, 10 October 18, 19, 20, 23 October 25, 26, 27, 30

Remeber to bring your Union card or an old pay stub.

Summer Shutdown 2010

Summer shutdown is currently scheduled for the weeks of July 11 to July 24.

There are 2 additional weeks in Chrysler Schedule that has us shutdown...the week of October 17 and the week of November 15, always subject to change.

We are currently putting together plans for another Bowling fund raiser most likely to take place in the fall. If your interested in helping us raise money for the unemployed help center please contact the Union office.
